Flat. Never per seat
Agencies run on contractors and shifting teams. Your price is set by the size class of your organization — it doesn't grow when you add a seat, and it doesn't punish you for shrinking.

Optional: collect client payments through the platform for a small per-invoice fee — announced at launch, and never required. Invoicing works without it.
Per-seat pricing taxes exactly how agencies work.
You staff up for a big quarter, bring in three contractors, then shrink back. A per-seat stack bills you for the peak. Tave doesn't move.
Questions we'd ask too
Agencies staff up and down with contractors constantly. Per-seat pricing taxes exactly that flexibility, and it shrinks your tooling the moment your team contracts. We price by organization size class and leave your roster alone.
Never. Clients use the portal, approve deliverables, sign documents and reply by email for free — no account, no login. Client access will never be metered.
A member of your team with a login: owner, member, finance, or contractor. Contractor seats can be scoped to assigned projects only, with money fields hidden. The contractor and finance roles arrive with Studio.
Yes, and we'll name it exactly. Never gated on any plan: e-signature, the client portal, the full event history and payments processing — the core engine is complete on Solo. What the tiers add is three things. Team: 1–2 seats on Solo, 10 with contractor and finance roles on Studio, 25 with granular permissions on Agency. Brand: Solo carries a small "powered by" on a usetave.com portal address, Studio removes the attribution on that same address, and your own custom domain with fully de-branded emails and PDFs is Agency only. Intelligence: Solo has the core money watchers, Studio has every watcher with configurable thresholds, and Agency adds the capacity and commercial layer across clients.
Most agencies lose $1,000–5,000 a month to unbilled work. One recovered change order per quarter is expected to pay for more than a year of the product — run your own numbers in the calculator.
